Daniel Shearin is a singer and multi-instrumentalist who has been performing in Asheville, NC since he first moved there from Boone, NC in 2007. He has been an active member of several popular bands in the area such as Uncle Mountain, River Whyless, and Now You See Them as well as performing regularly as a solo artist. In a solo setting, Daniel plays finger-style acoustic guitar, harmonica, and sings his own songs – an easy-going mix of folk, rock, and world music with influences ranging from Nick Drake and Paul Simon to Wilco and Tyler Ramsey.
